Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country divided into two main regions — Peninsular Malaysia (West Malaysia) and East Malaysia (on the island of Borneo). It is bordered by Thailand, Indonesia, and Brunei, and surrounded by the South China Sea and the Straits of Malacca.
